Free Walking Tour
No, there is no sign up required, just meet the guide at any of the three meeting points.
There are three meetingpoints for the Free Walking Tour:
- At 10:40 (Winter) or 17:40 (Summer) at Balmers Hostel, Hauptstrasse 23, Matten bei Interlaken
- At 10:50 (Winter) or 17:50 (Summer) at Backpacker's Villa Sonnenhof, Alpenstrasse 16, Interlaken
- At 11:00 (Winter) or 18:00 (Summer) at the Outdoor Interlaken Höheweg Shop, Höheweg 95, Interlaken
You can find the exact departure times on the website and on your ticket.
The tour takes approximately two hours, this may vary depending on the group and guide.
The Free Walking Tour is targeted at individual travellers, for group larger than five we would ask you to book a Private City Walk.
Swiss Food and Culture Tour
When less than five people sign up for the Swiss Food and Culture Tour, we unfortunately have to cancel it. In this case you would be notified beforehand and receive a full refund.
For the public Swiss Food and Culture Tour, a cancellation fee of 100.0% is charged if the tour is cancelled 48 hours or less before the event.
For private tours, a cancellation fee of 100.0% is charged if the tour is cancelled 48 hours or less before the event, a cancellation fee of 60.0% is charged if cancelled 7 days or less before the event.
Private Tours
